This is the live cams page where we will be showing the feeds
from up to four outside cams, including one inside a nestbox.
The green disc at the bottom is a squirrel baffle designed to tilt with a squirrels
weight.
It has big bite marks in it where the squirrels have tried to clamber onto it!
The camera is on an extension bar and the cables protected by copper tube
as the squirrels have bitten through the cable on too many occasions.
This seed feeder when in use is refilled about three times a week using a mix of
sunflower hearts, kibbled maize, husk-free oats and canary seed. It is a no-mess
seed but they drop a lot as they feed which is hurriedly eaten up by our pesky
grey squirrels and the blackbirds.
The feed above is live from my garden and is supplied by camstreams and will be changed to different cameras as the
need arises, one obvious place is the nest box when and if it is occupied.
Camera is live during UK daylight hours normally but
can be off due to adverse weather, maintenance,
gardening etc etc.
It is usually on a hanging feeder but be can be on the
table feeder or the niger feeder.
Checking the nest box out 16th Feb 2011
It can take up to 30 seconds to buffer, please be patient.
